This is the most personal song I've ever written. I wrote this for my son after he was killed in a car accident. The chorus helps explain how many of my friends in the music industry use our creative outlets to deal with life's ups and downs. The third verse is 100% true. And if it weren't for this guitar, the music and all the support I've gotten over the last 5 years, I wouldn't still be here. I didn't write this song for praise, or for sympathy. I wrote it to say I'm still kicking, and as long as I have this outlet, I'll continue to do so. We're releasing this one on what should have been his 27th birthday, Saturday November 29th. We miss you like crazy kid, and your dad loves you.
